I grew up an active kid and teen, swimming competitively, hiking, and dirt bike riding. As I got older and became a mom, hairdresser and salon owner, I wasn’t as active. That was until I was diagnosed with Celiac and Lyme's Disease. I turned those health challenges into my strengths. I firmly believe in the power of nutrition; with the right dietary choices, anyone can influence their health and manage chronic conditions. My approach to wellness is a little more on the holistic side, especially since I have seen what it has done for myself.
My commitment to fitness has changed drastically in the last 8 years. Being a swimmer, I always said, “swimmers can’t run”. I proved myself wrong. I have run multiple half-marathons, numerous marathons and most recently I have become a triathlete. I have proven that with determination and proper nutrition, any goal is achievable.
My own personal journey with Celiac and Lyme's Disease has fueled me to help educate others on how diet can play a critical role in managing symptoms and enhancing quality of life. As a fitness and nutrition coach, I want to share my knowledge by helping others in their health journeys. Whether, I’m guiding someone through a nutritional plan, endurance training, strength training or simply cheering you on from the sidelines, my focus will be steadfastly set on helping you achieve your health and fitness goals!

I’ve always been a fitness fanatic. I started playing baseball at the age of seven and progressed into weight lifting at the age of eleven. I spent middle school through college in San Diego, California, where the weather allowed for year-round training of all sports. In high school I competed in baseball, football, weight lifting, and even took on wrestling for a season. During this time, I won multiple bench press and power clean competitions. It was always important to me to stay as active as possible, and I thrived on competition to drive improvements in my abilities.
Following high school, I attended San Diego State University for my undergraduate degree and while I did not continue competitive collegiate sports, I lifted weights daily and would regularly run. During this time, I completed my first biathlon, which consisted of a half-mile ocean swim and a five-mile beach run. I routinely looked for and found opportunities to compete and stay active, whether it was a pickup tackle football game in a local park, a basketball game with friends or free diving for lobster off Mission Bay.
Following college, I entered the Marine Corps and developed a whole new level of fitness that came from daily running, humping 70 lbs. packs across the desert in Twenty-Nine Palms, CA, and various other combat conditioning drills, in addition to a regular weight lifting program. The Marine Corps helped me to further build strength, endurance, and resiliency that I carried over into my life as a civilian after four years of service and two combat tours.
It wasn’t until I was in my late thirties that I got into marathon running. I started out with the goal of just completing one marathon to say “I did that” however one turned into two and two turned into nine with three trips to Boston and a PR of 2:46 at the 2023 Wineglass Marathon in NY. I’ve also competed in a host of other races, from a 1-mile airport runway race to numerous 5K’s and half-marathons. While running has become a dominant fixture in my life, I have continued to lift weights and place extra emphasis on my nutrition.
After nearly three decades of sports, lifting, running, and a plethora of other physical activities, I want to take what I have learned and use it to improve the lives of others. I believe that an active, healthy lifestyle is the key to happiness and longevity. There are plenty of distractions and excuses in our lives that result in not putting our health first, my goal is to help my clients overcome this, build their knowledge, and create routines that enable them to not only improve but excel to a level they never believed was possible. I am fully committed to bringing out the best in every client and partnering with them on this journey.
